Wants and desires
Do not always coincide or agree
With moving clock hands
Though needs always go met
Despite what time momentarily will
Or will not permit
Some moments to lose in laughter
Mixed with honest words
And a sincere embraces
Despite less than ideal circumstances
My heart needed that simple night...
