Poem: Home

There are few spaces in this vast expanse of world
That feel like home
Where you don't have to explain yourself
Your likes and dislikes are just known
Where you can say hello to a stranger and not be seen as an intruder
Where the space and the pace just feels right
Where the air just soaks you in the peace of knowing
That this is where you belong
Your own little nook with your name invisibily written
In the span of time in a place
Where you can just feel it through the depths
That you see and are seen
And that you belong
There is yet only twice where this for me has continuously occured
In the arms of one and the space of a small town
I remember home...
