For closing doors too quickly and too soon
Thinking I knew the answers
To all my future
The door purposely hit your face
In hopes that you could move on
Now you have moved, but I find myself
In a different place asking the same questions
Finding the same answers I knew years ago
But pride stepped in and invited confusion
Faith somehow got lost in the shuffle
And all I'm left with is tears of repentance.
