Simple Abyss

Earnestly, I wish for courage

To be vulnerable enough to hear and honor your voice

As well as let my own voice be heard

Even if our words may be different than what we had hoped for

Even if there may be disappointment

But if we let go of assumptions

We let go of the need for control

And truly step out into this vast and unknown abyss

I trust that no matter what we experience

Or how it will manifest

It will be beautiful
